Smarter Eye was established in Beijing in October 2014. Based on the world's leading binocular vision algorithm, it provides vehicle-mounted 3D environment perception solutions and active safety systems. It is the first high-tech company in China to launch mass production of vehicle-mounted rear-mounted, quasi-front-mounted, and front-mounted stereo vision sensors. Smarter Eye is a national high-tech enterprise, a Zhongguancun cutting-edge technology enterprise, a Zhongguancun high-tech enterprise, and a national specialized and special new "little giant" enterprise; it is the first company in China to commercialize stereoscopic vision perception technology.It is also a member of Baidu Apollo ecosystem.
Smarter Eye is committed to full-stack empowering L0~L4 intelligent driving. At present, it has provided visual solutions for hundreds of domestic autonomous driving projects. At the same time, it has self-developed ADAS systems such as road preview, height limit warning, AEB active safety, and cloud platform and shipped them in batches, and has won the pre-installation designation of many OEMs. In addition, the company's intelligent solutions have been widely implemented in the fields of buses, garbage trucks, special vehicles, RVs, etc., and it has also jointly launched products such as intelligent voice control, intelligent energy management, and intelligent cockpit systems with partners to fully empower commercial applications. Intelligent system have been installed on nearly 100,000 vehicles.
The company currently has more than 200 employees. The core members come from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Microsoft, Toyota, Delphi, etc., and have more than ten years of experience in the research and development of stereoscopic vision technology. The company has independent intellectual property rights and has a full set of industry chain capabilities in stereo camera hardware design, structural design, software design, algorithm design, manufacturing and pre-sales and after-sales services. It has authorized/accepted more than 300 patents, 80% of which are invention patents.
